Sgt. John Monroe passed away unexpectedly in his home. A Chattanooga police officer passed away unexpectedly at his home while off-duty, according to a Facebook post from the Chattanooga Police Department.
Sgt. John Monroe had been with the Chattanooga Police Department since 1998.
