Chattanooga police have arrested a suspect in Tuesday night's shooting and subsequent pedestrian hit by vehicle in Chattanooga.

Conner Bell, 26, is charged with attempted first degree murder. An aggravated assault charge is pending the traffic investigation.

Police found a victim with multiple gunshot wounds at the intersection of Ivy and Kilmer Streets at around 6:45 p.m. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening wounds.

A few minutes later, police were called to the 2500 block of East 5th Street where a pedestrian had been hit by a vehicle. That victim was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
