Gas line work will close eastbound lanes of Ashland Terrace for about a month beginning Wednesday, according to the Chattanooga Department of Transportation.
The work will take place between Crestview and Thrushwood drive. The right eastbound lane will be close for the length of the project. The second eastbound lane will be closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, and eastbound traffic will be shifted into the middle turn lane.
The closure is expected to be last until Feb. 15. Once that segment is completed, work will continue the length of Ashland Terrace, crossing Hixson Pike and continuing down North Access Road to Memphis Drive.
The project is expected to be completed by March 1.
