Two men were injured in separate shootings over the weekend in Chattanooga, and a woman died three days after suffering multiple stab wounds, police said.

Sandra Crews, 60, died Saturday, according to a news release.

Police were called to a home in the 100 block of Willie Way on a shots fired report at around 10:24 p.m. Wednesday and found Crews unresponsive, an earlier news release states.

Investigators and medical personnel had been working to determine if she was also shot, but police haven't yet released that information.

Joanna Alder, 35, was named as a suspect and taken into custody in Morgan County, Tennessee, a news release states. She was charged with attempted first-degree murder and booked into the Hamilton County Jail. That charge is expected to be upgraded to first-degree murder.

Also Saturday, two shootings took place about a mile and a half apart.

The first took place in the 1400 block of South Holly Street just after 9 p.m., a news release states.

Police were called to a local hospital after a 30-year-old man drove himself there with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. He told police he was walking on South Holly Street when he was shot.

Then at about 10:39 p.m., police were called to the 2500 block of South Orchard Knob Avenue. There, police found evidence of a crime scene and were notified that a victim had arrived at a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The 28-year-old man told police he was walking on South Orchard Knob when he was shot, according to a news release. He was given a ride to the hospital.

Police have not said whether the two shootings are connected.
