Two injured in early morning shooting in Chattanooga

UPDATE: Chattanooga police have arrested and charged a man with two counts of attempted murder.

ORIGINAL STORY: Two people were injured in a shooting early Tuesday morning in Chattanooga's Westside.

Chattanooga police responding to a call of "people shot" just after 12:30 a.m. found two victims with gunshot wounds in the 700 block of West Main Street Court, according to a news release.

Both were transported to a local hospital, where one was listed in critical condition and the second was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

No suspect information was available.
