Man arrested, charged with attempted murder in Tuesday shooting

Chattanooga police have arrested and charged a man with two counts of attempted murder in connection with Tuesday's shooting on the 700 block of West Main Street Court.

Robert Orr, 28, was arrested Thursday and transported to the Hamilton County Jail after being charged with two counts of attempted first degree murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a dangerous felony.

Police were dispatched to West Main Street Court at 12:34 a.m. Tuesday in response to a shooting report and found two victims with gunshot wounds who were transported to a local hospital.

Once victim was considered to be in critical condition, while a second sustained injuries that were not life-threatening.
