UPDATE at 11:42 a.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2019: The Gilmer County Health Department reopened Thursday, according to a news release.

ORIGINAL STORY: A power outage has forced the Gilmer County (Georgia) Health Department to close today.

In a statement, the North Georgia Health District apologized for the inconvenience and said an announcement on when it would reopen would be made when more information is available.
