Drop that gaming controller and pick up a game that dates back 1,000 years on July 6 at the Etowah Games Day 2019 at the Etowah Indian Mounds State Historic Site in Cartersville, Georgia.

"Kids and adults are invited to learn ancient versions of Yahtzee, ladder ball, stick ball, lawn darts and more at this historic site," Etowah Indian Mounds interpretive ranger Keith Bailey said in a press release. "Learn to make a bull roar, play double-ball, and join other games of skill."

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on July 6 and admission is $4-6, for children and adults, respectively. Etowah Indian Mounds State Historic Site is at 813 Indian Mounds Road SE in Cartersville.
