Police identify man killed in Wednesday morning shooting in Chattanooga

Chattanooga police are investigating after a man was killed in a shooting early Wednesday.

Robert Gill, 29, was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds, according to a police news release.

The incident happened just before 6 a.m. at a home located in the 3200 block of South Street, according to a police spokesperson.

Police secured the scene and called for the CPD Violent Crimes Bureau to investigate.
