A home in East Brainerd is damaged after a Thursday afternoon fire, according to a news release from Hamilton County Emergency Services.
The Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department arrived on the 8000 block of Holly Crest Circle at around 4 p.m. to find flames on the roof and the back of the house.
Firefighters managed to extinguish the fire within 10 minutes. No injuries were reported, the release states.
The cause of the fire will be investigated by the Tri-Community VFD Fire Marshal's Office.
