Authorities in Jackson County, Alabama, say search crews still have not found 18-year-old Geraldine resident Koy Spears who went missing Feb. 22.

Spears was one of three people in a Jeep Cherokee that overturned into a flooding creek in Buck's Pocket State Park.

Search and rescue teams pulled 22-year-old Sara Lucille Mooneyham of Crossville, Alabama; and 21-year-old Jaxon Cole Jones, of Dawson, out of the creek within a couple of hours from when the went into the water. They were found clinging to a tree, but Spears hasn't been seen again. The jeep also has not been found, officials said.

The search for him has continued as weather has allowed, but efforts have been hampered by high water and continuing rain.

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Marine Patrol Capt. Gary Buchanan said last week that several agencies conducted searches this week along the shoreline and from the air along South Sauty Creek. Search efforts are expected to resume as weather and water levels allow.
