Chattanooga police are investigating a reported home invasion in the 5000 block of 14th Avenue Tuesday evening, spokeswoman Elisa Myzal confirmed.
One person was shot and taken to a local hospital, Myzal said. Another person showed up at a hospital via a personally owned vehicle, though it's not clear if the second person is connected to the first.
Their conditions are now known at this time.
Medical staff are working to determine what type of injury the second person sustained, since it wasn't immediately clear if it was a gunshot wound, Myzal said. And investigators are working to determine if the second person was connected to the incident on 14th Avenue or elsewhere.
