A passenger was killed early Sunday morning when a Ford F-150 left the road and struck a tree.
The crash happened just before 4:30 a.m. in the 7200 block of Noah Reid Road near Shallowford Road in Chattanooga. The Chattanooga Police Department Traffic and DUI units responded to the scene.
The passenger, Brent Johnson, 24, was pronounced dead on scene. The driver was taken to a local hospital.
