KENNESAW, Ga. (AP) -- Police say one person has been shot and killed and two others injured at an apartment complex in an Atlanta suburb.
Cobb County police spokesman Sgt. Wayne Delk said in an email that one person died on the scene after the shooting Sunday. He said two other victims were taken to a hospital, and their conditions were not immediately available.
Delk said the shooting appears to have stemmed from a dispute between neighbors. He said there was no further threat to other residents at the Stadium Village apartments.
The apartment complex is near Kennesaw State University's football stadium. Its website suggests it's an ideal place for students to live.
Delk said he didn't have the name or ages of the victims and didn't know whether any of them were students.
