Chattanooga police have identified the people involved in Sunday morning's second shooting.
Police were called to the parking lot of 6925 Shallowford Road at around 2:42 a.m. where they found a large gathering of people.
Officers were met by Dewayne Love, 37, who said he had been shot, according to a news release. Emergency personnel arrived and took Love to the hospital.
As police secured the scene, they detained a 27-year-old man named Tevin Davis, the news release states. Over the course of the investigation, police determined both Love and Davis were intoxicated, in possession of firearms, and "discharged them in a reckless manner."
Love and Davis are both charged with reckless endangerment and possession of a firearm while Intoxicated, according to the news release. They have both been taken to the Hamilton County Jail.
The Shallowford Road shooting took place just one hour after a fatal shooting at Coyote Jack's night club in downtown Chattanooga.
The two shootings are not connected, police say.
