Victim in Monday's fatal shooting identified

The man killed in a shooting Monday has been identified.

Chattanooga police say 31-year-old Deric Poole died after being shot in the 1000 block of North Hawthorne Street.

Another 31-year-old was also shot and a 34-year-old had injuries of an unknown nature, police said at the time.

Police said the shooting happened around 12:30 a.m. as the three men stood outside and someone drove by and began firing. No suspect information has been released.
