CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A Tennessee man has been charged with attempted murder for allegedly shooting at his wife during a domestic dispute.

The Clarksville Lead-Chronicle reports 36-year-old Thomas Reynolds was arrested Sunday after a weekend manhunt near Clarksville. He also is charged with offenses including domestic assault and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

The Stewart County Sheriff's Office says it received a call Friday from Reynolds' wife, who told deputies that he had repeatedly fired a gun during a dispute and then fled.

Sheriff's Investigator Jody Batton says the woman didn't suffer any major injures. The nature of the dispute is unclear, as are the details.

Criminal records show Reynolds was charged between 2011 and 2015 with drug offenses that have mostly been dismissed.
