Two people have been hospitalized with injuries after a Tuesday morning crash in Red Bank, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Fire Department.

A fire truck was damaged around 9:40 a.m. near the intersection of Browntown Road and Dayton Boulevard after an Acura was reported by witnesses as driving erratically. The car clipped the side of the truck from the pump panel to the front tire before running into a Dodge Ram and a telephone pole, the release states.

The two people in the Acura were transported to a local hospital by Hamilton County Emergency Medical Services. No fire personnel were injured.
