A 35-year-old man has been seriously injured in a Thursday morning crash on Shallowford Road, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.
The CPD Traffic Unit determined that a Honda CBR 600 motorcycle was traveling eastbound on the 4600 block of Shallowford Road in the left lane when it struck the rear of a Toyota Highlander ahead of it at around 7:54 a.m. The man was separated from the motorcycle during the collision and was later taken to a local hospital.
The Toyota Highlander was being driven by a juvenile, the release states.
