Suspect arrested after Friday night homicide at CBC Cleveland

A suspect was arrested and charged with first-degree murder after a fight led to a fatal shooting at a Cleveland billiards club late Friday night, according to police.

Miranda L. Stamper was shot in the parking lot of CBC Cleveland shortly before 11:30 p.m. She was transported to Tennova Healthcare where she died, according to a release from the Cleveland Police Department. Karla Clausell has been arrested and charged in the incident.

Stamper was 22 years old and Clausell is 29, according to the Cleveland Daily Banner.

The two had gotten into an altercation in the parking lot allegedly leading to the shooting, according to police.

Police were called to the scene at 185 Inman Street Easter at 11:22 p.m. When they arrived, they found the victim lying in the parking lot with multiple bullet wounds and arrested the suspect.

"The scene was chaotic, as there were many bar patrons in the parking lot," according to a release from the Cleveland Police Department.
