A Midwest Coca-Cola bottling company on Friday completed its previously announced purchase of Coca-Cola Bottling Works of Tullahoma, Inc., which distributes Coke in parts of Tennessee and Kentucky.

Reyes Holdings, L.L.C., based in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont, Illinois, said its Great Lakes Coca-Cola Bottling Co., bought the family-owned Tullahoma bottler for an undisclosed price.

Reyes currently operates in Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Northern Indiana and Wisconsin. Reyes Holdings also owns Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling, which has extensive operations in California and Nevada.

Coca-Cola Bottling Works of Tullahoma bottles and sells more than 500 different products and packages in 30 counties. In addition to manufacturing Coca-Cola products in Tullahoma, Tennessee, they also distribute from four locations in Tullahoma and Clarksville, Tennessee and Elizabethtown and Owensboro, Kentucky. Many of their employees are third and fourth generation.

The 113-year-old Tullahoma bottler employs more than 200 workers.

"Getting to know the team at Coca-Cola Bottling Works of Tullahoma has made us incredibly excited for the future," said Jeff Laschen, CEO of Great Lakes Coca-Cola Bottling. "We look forward to growing our role within the Coca-Cola system and together building upon our existing partnerships with employees, customers, consumers, and local communities.
