Update: Officials are now saying that Roberts Mill Road will remain open on Tuesday due to the fact that EPB has work scheduled in the area this week.
While the road will be open, EPB will be working with flaggers and lane closures will be in effect, a release states.
The scheduled paving work will be done at another time.
Original story: Roberts Mill Road in Signal Mountain is scheduled to be closed on Jan. 28, according to a news release.
The road will be closed to all traffic from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
The Hamilton County Highway Department says the closure will allow contractors to pave a portion of the road.
Motorists are advised to use the W Road or Taft Highway to Signal Mountain.
