KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - A woman was fatally injured when she was struck by a train in Tennessee on Friday, police said.
The woman, who was not immediately identified, was walking with a man along tracks in North Knoxville shortly after 2 p.m. when they heard a train coming, police said. The man got off the tracks but the woman did not move in time and was hit, news outlets reported.
Police said no foul play is suspected.
