KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A second victim has died from wounds in a shooting at an East Tennessee restaurant, authorities said.

Rob Goebel, 50, was pronounced dead at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, Knoxville police said Sunday night in a statement.

The shooting happened Sunday morning at Cazzy's Corner Grill. Another employee, Alexis Clayton, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Knoxville police said the suspect, former employee Christopher Robert MacGuire, entered the restaurant, shot Goebel and Clayton following an altercation and fled. Officers later found his body in a car near the scene. He died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said.

Cazzy's Corner Grill owner Matt Kaye described the events as devastating and heartbreaking in a statement to news outlets. The restaurant was closed Monday and grief counseling was being made available for workers, he said.

The shooting remains under investigation.
