VW touts car on new billboards

Volkswagen is putting up on billboards around the city the midsize sedan it will make in Chattanooga, but the car is draped in cloth to disguise its appearance.

VW spokesman Scott Wilson said four or five of the billboards are going up in the area so Chattanooga is included in the anticipation of the vehicle's official launch.

The car is slated to be unveiled at the Detroit auto show in January.
