Auto supplier locates in Bristol

A General Motors supplier in Ohio announced Wednesday it will convert a former Jeans plant in Bristol, Tenn., into an automotive parts plant. DLH Industries, a global supplier of engineered plastic solutions in the automotive and other markets, will expand into a 60,000-square-foot plant that will initially employ 25 workers and could expand in the next year to 75 employees.

"The automotive industry is one of the key industry clusters we have identified where Tennessee has a competitive advantage, and I am pleased that DLH has recognized the business-friendly climate and quality workforce that our state offers," Tennessee Economic Development Commissioner Bill Hagerty said.
