What are Chattanooga's biggest building projects?

In September, the city of Chattanooga issued 186 building permits with a collective value of $28.3 million. The highest value projects started last month were:

1 Temporary pavilion for Volkswagen management conference at the VW plant by Integrated Properties LLC, $4.4 million

2 Solar panel farm at Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport by Pointe General, $3.6 million

3 Renovation of storage space at 201 W. Main St. to office and retail space by Morgan Construction Co., $2.7 million

4 Completion of exhibit space and offices for the River City Co., 2 Broad St., by Morgan Construction Co., $1.1 million

5 Redesign of stairway and elevator project at Memorial Hospital in Glenwood by Brasfield & Gorrie, $1 million
