What are the top five biggest building projects in Chattanooga?

In July, Chattanooga granted permits for 232 building projects collectively valued at $116.3 million. The biggest construction projects begun last month in the city included:

1 Memorial Hospital north building package, relocation of emergency room and MRI facilities at the main campus in Glenwood by Brasfield & Gorrie, $85.7 million.

2 New six-story Hampton Inn at 2013 Hamilton Place Blvd., owned by Vision Hospitality Group and built by D&S Builders LLC, $7 million.

3 Erlanger East Hospital emergency facilities at 1751 Gunbarrel Road built by P&C Construction Inc., $5.65 million.

4 Chattanooga Housing Authority renovation of 14 buildings at 5125 Woodland View Circle by Tower Construction Co. Inc., $1.12 million.

5 Addition to a private residence by Michael and Sonia Allan at 1508 Edgewood Circle in Riverview, built by Raines Brothers Inc., $1.05 million.
