Engineered Floors seeking workers for Dalton, Ga., plants

The Georgia Department of Labor will help carpet manufacturer Engineered Floors recruit a total 45 workers for two separate plants in Dalton, Ga.

The recruitment will be held Thursday, June 11, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the GDOL's Dalton Career Center, 1405 Chattanooga Ave.

The company is recruiting 20 twister operators, 15 creelers and 10 truck lift operators, with a valid class C driver's license. Previous work experience is not necessary.

Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, all applicants must be at least 18 years old. The company will conduct background checks and drug-screening tests on selected applicants.

Salaries range from $11-$12 an hour.
