A women's boutique retailer, bevello, is expanding into Tennessee with a new 1,400-square-foot store slated to open this summer next to Bonefish Grill at Hamilton Corner in East Brainerd.

"Chattanooga has been on our radar for some time, and this location will be our first boutique in Tennessee," said Chan Namgong, the company founder and CEO who started bevello as an online retailer in Raleigh, N.C., in 2009. "We cherry-pick our merchandise from the best brands out there. Our buyers do a great job of understanding what our clients want and of course, our friendly staff is what sets us apart."

Namgoing said bevello offers such popular designer brands such as French Connection, Kendra Scott, Show Me Your Mumu, Free People, House of Harlow 1960, Sanctuary, BB Dakota, Kate Spade, Yumi Kim, Gigi NY and BCBGeneration as well as smaller unique brands. The store also will carry premium denim such as Joe's Jeans and Genetic Denim in addition to footwear.

The boutique retailer currently operates 27 stores in seven states.

Hamilton Corner was developed and is owned by the Chattanooga-based CBL & Associates Properties Inc., which also owns and operates the nearby Hamilton Place mall.
