Danny Gork joins CapitalMark

CapitalMark Bank & Trust, a division of Pinnacle Bank, has hired Danny Gork as senior vice president and trust services adviser.

In this role, Gork provides investment management services to help clients accumulate assets. He is a member of Pinnacle's trust services team, which delivers comprehensive planning, wealth management, trust and estate administration services focusing on wealth accumulation and asset protection.

Gork is a 27-year banking veteran most recently serving at Regions as a senior portfolio manager working with individual and institutional trusts.

Coffman named sales executive for Courtyard

Constance Coffman has been named sales executive at the Chattanooga Courtyard at Hamilton Place.

She has 20 years of sales experience and has been a member of the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce for 26 years.

Bosshardt joins Chambliss firm

Attorney Nathan Bosshardt has joined the Chattanooga law firm of Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel, P.C. in the firm's labor and employment practice group. Bosshardt will advise clients on compliance issues arising under federal, state and local employment laws.

Bosshardt graduated magna cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he served as associate articles editor at the Mississippi Law Journal. He graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia, receiving a bachelor of arts degree in history.

Kenco wins ATA safety honors

Kenco Transportation Services was recently honored with the top safety award for its category in the annual competition sponsored by the American Trucking Associations (ATA).

Kenco, a leading provider of integrated logistics solutions, real estate services, and material handling equipment, received the 2015 ATA President's Trophy in the Under 25 Million Miles category. The award is given to a company judged most outstanding on the basis of its comprehensive safety program.

The ATA also honored Kenco with a first place award in the National Truck Safety Contest (General Commodities/Truckload/Line-Haul up to 10 Million Miles). The ATA Safety Management Council also recognized Kenco Manager of Fleet Safety Joe Smith with the 2015 Leadership Award and the 2015 National Safety Professional Award of Excellence for his leadership and contributions to motor carrier, highway, and workplace safety.

"This is a very prestigious honor due to the high-caliber and outstanding safety records of all the companies that entered the competition," said Kevin Fletcher, Kenco's senior vice president for transportation.

"It is great to have not only our record-but also our culture of safety at Kenco-recognized by the ATA."

Chattanoogan promotes Long

The Chattanoogan hotel, a Benchmark Hotel, has promoted Adriane Elrod Long to the position of senior sales manager. In her new role, Long is responsible for training and leading the sales team in addition to continuing to secure new and existing group rooms business.

Long joined The Chattanoogan in July 2013 as a group sales manager. During that time, she has received numerous accolades for her work at the upscale hotel, including Benchmark Hospitality International's BCP Sales Award 2014 and Platinum Club Member 2014.

Long has more than 12 years of business and hospitality experience in positions of increased responsibility. She attended Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Ala., and is a member of the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW).

Attorneys on Super Stars list

Attorneys Jerry H. Summers and Jimmy F. Rodgers Jr. have been named to the 2015 Mid-South Super Lawyers list as two of the top attorneys in Tennessee, and Marya L. Schalk has been named to the 2015 Mid-South Rising Stars list.

No more than 5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by Super Lawyers. Summers was selected for his work in the criminal defense field, while Rodgers was recognized for his work in the area of personal injury plaintiff: products. This is the tenth year that Summers has been named to the list, and the fourth year that Rodgers has been named.

Schalk was named to the Mid-South Rising Stars list as one of the top up-and-coming attorneys in Tennessee for 2015. Each year, no more that 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state receive this honor. This is the fifth year that Schalk has been recognized as a Rising Star.

Summers was also recognized as one of only three lawyers from Chattanooga among "The Top 100" lawyers for the entire State of Tennessee in the 2015 Mid-South Super Lawyers magazine.

Ray joins law firm in LaFayette

Attorney Ryan L. Ray, of Signal Mountain, has joined Womack, Gottlieb and Rodham in the general practice of law in LaFayette, Ga. Ray is a 2009 graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law where he received the John and Mary Franklin Foundation Scholarship and served as an editor of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law.

Ray brings to Womack, Gottlieb and Rodham his experience in litigation and mediation with the national firm of Lewis Bribois Brisgaard & Smith, LLP and the Cohan Law Group, LLC in Atlanta. He also completed internships with both Fortson, Bentley & Griffin, P.A. and Miller & Martin, PLLC.

Olsen law firm moves offices

The Olsen Law Firm, an immigration and international law firm started by Terry Olsen in 2003, has relocated from the 401 Building on Chestnut Street into the historic James Building at 735 Broad Street.

The James Building is Chattanooga's first skyscraper designed by R.H. Hunt and built in 1907.

"This new location will keep us right in the heart of Chattanooga's most vibrant area, easily accessible to our clients," Olsen said. "With this move to the James Building, The Olsen Law Firm gains an office identity that reflects our strong state-wide presence and accommodates our future growth plans."

The law firm has three legal assistants, in addition to Olsen.
