A cocktail at the Flying Squirrel bar in Chattanooga has been named one of the best in America.

Restaurant Hospitality magazine awarded bartender Matt Ballard's cocktail "The Reverend" honorable mention in its Best Cocktails in America contest.

"We're extremely excited and proud," Flying Squirrel owner Max Poppel said.

All of the winners can be found in the magazine's November 2015 issue.

Earlier this year the restaurant was named one of the best-designed bars in the nation by the American Institute of Architects. The restaurant features a glass and wood design built, in part, from pieces of a 115-year-old barn from McMinnville.
