Eagle Bend Manufacturing will invest another $54.9 million to expand its 28-year-old automotive equipment-making facility in Clinton, Tenn.

Eagle said today the expansion will add 127 jobs. The expansion is the second in the past three years. In 2012, Eagle Bend Manufacturing announced a $64 million expansion plan and added 100,000 square feet to its facility.

Eagle Bend Manufacturing, a division of Cosma International, an operating unit of Magna International Inc., is one of the premier global automotive suppliers providing a comprehensive range of body, chassis and engineering solutions to auto manufacturers around the world. The Clinton plant makes major body structures and assemblies for the automotive industry.

Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam said Eagle is among more than 900 automotive suppliers across the Volunteer State.

"Tennessee continues to be a global leader in automotive manufacturing, thanks in large part to the strong network of suppliers located around the state, and today's announcement supports our goal of becoming the No. 1 location in the Southeast for high quality jobs," Haslam said.
