Another six BiLo stores are closing to reopen next week as Food City outlets as the Abington, Va.,-based grocery chain continues its conversion of the 29 Chattanooga area BiLo stores it purchased last month.

Food City is adding 15 to 25 more employees per store and revamping, restocking and rebranding the grocery outlets under its own store name and layout. Shoppers will be given new Food City bonus cards as the new stores open.

The latest BiLo stores reopening as Food City grocery stores include the BiLo stores at Cleveland, Tenn., at 255 Ocoee Crossing North and 2310 McGrady Drive, which reopen as Food City on Wednesday, and the BiLo stores at 9213 Lee Highway in Ooltewah, 420 Market Street in Dayton, Tenn., 10161 Old Dayton Pike in Soddy Daisy, and 841 U.S. 411 North in Etowah, which reopen as Food City outlets on Thursday.
