* Ooltewah/Collegedale Council Coffee from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2 at Wired Coffee Bar, 9447 Bradmore Lane. The monthly networking event in Ooltewah allows businesses to develop connections.

* East Ridge Council Meeting from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2 at the East Ridge Community Center, 1517 Tombras Ave. Meetings cost $10. A construction panel at the meeting will include Brad Hayden of the city of East Ridge and Fire Marshall Kenny Custer.
