The River City Co., the nonprofit development and promotion agency for downtown Chattanooga, has added five new directors.

The new board members for River City announced Tuesday include City Council member Carol Berz, Hamilton County Commissioner Sabrena Smedley, Alderman Holdings' founding partner Andrew Kean, Chattanooga Choo Choo Partner Adam Kinsey, and Hunter Museum Executive Director Virginia Anne Sharber.

"The varied and thorough experience of these five new board members will be an incredible asset and will help us continue to make downtown Chattanooga a vibrant, engaged and prospering urban center," River City President Kim White said.
