Torgerson top agent for Movement Mortgage

Nathan Torgerson of The Torgerson Team at Keller Williams Realty recently won the Diamond Award for the third year running for most closed production with Movement Mortgage.

With 92 units sold in 2017, Torgerson had a record-breaking year last year.

"As an individual agent, Nathan Torgerson represented more closed units than any other individual agent. I believe that is a testament to the loyalty of his clients, which I think it is a result of the phenomenal customer service that The Torgerson Team gives to their clients and customers," said Nathan Brown, chief leadership officer for Keller Williams Realty of Greater Downtown Chattanooga.

 

Coleman named president of Alliant Management Services

Jim Coleman Jr., a former chief operating officer for Parkridge Health System in Chattanooga, has joined Alliant Management Services as president and chief executive officer.

Coleman brings almost 30 years of healthcare management and executive experience to Alliant, including hospital operations, strategic market and partnership development, physician relations and recruiting to the CEO role. Previously, Coleman was senior vice president of Southeast Hospital Operations at Community Hospital Corp., where he specialized in managing operations and projects for more than 20 rural hospitals across six states, including turnaround and partnership strategies for numerous at risk and critical access hospitals.

Prior to that, Coleman worked for HCA for 10 years, including roles at Parkridge and as chief executive officer at Cleveland Community Hospital and Bradley Memorial Hospital in Cleveland, Tenn.

Coleman holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from the University of Tennessee.

 

Hill inducted as ABF Life Fellow

Rosemarie Hill, a shareholder in the law firm of Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel P.C., has been inducted as a Life Fellow of the American Bar Foundation's global honorary society, the Fellows. Membership in the Fellows is limited to one percent of lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction and is dictated by peer nomination as well as election by the Board of the American Bar Foundation.

"It is truly an honor to be recognized among my peers as a Fellow," said Hill, labor and employment section chair at Chambliss. "I have been very fortunate to represent a wide array of clients and strive to provide effective counsel that adheres to the highest professional and ethical standards."

Hill is recognized as a Fellow for the American, Chattanooga and Tennessee Bar Foundations, as well as the American College of Trial Lawyers. In addition, she is ranked on the Mid-South Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America national rankings lists.

 

CNE names Seigel mortgage advisor

Bruce Seigel has been named named community mortgage advisor at Chattanooga Neighborhood Enterprise. Seigel has 25 years of experience, most recently as a senior mortgage advisor at Finance of America Mortgage in California.

He comes to CNE with a diverse residential lending background including conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Construction and Commercial/Investment property financing. He is joining the CNE lending team to expand its mortgage product portfolio.

 

Crye-Leike North Georgia wins Business of the Year

The Catoosa County Chamber of Commerce recognized the Fort Oglethorpe branch of Crye-Leike Real Estate Services athe r Business of the Year for employers with 20-50 people.

"Supporting the community we serve and actively involving ourselves within the community and Chamber of Commerce is important to us all, said Ian O'Shea, branch manager of Crye-Leike North Georgia.

O'Shea currently serves on the Executive Committee for the Board of Directors for the Catoosa Chamber of Commerce and is a graduate of Leadership Catoosa and the Georgia Academy for Regional Economic & Leadership Development.

 

Riggs reaches milestone at Ameriprise Financial

Jody B. Riggs, a private wealth advisor with Riggs & Associates, has reached a career milestone by being included in the Ameriprise Financial Services' Circle of Success program. Less than 7 percent of Ameriprise advisors have earned this distinction. Riggs was one of only 56 advisors to achieve this milestone.

 

Nausley completes Devine Certification

Lisa Nausley, owner and CEO of Sandler Training, has successfully completed her certification in a suite of talent assessment tools developed by The Devine Group for Fortune 500 companies and other employers.

These assessments identify potential training/coaching needs as well as alignment of cultural strengths to the strategic vision of the organization.

 

Fowlkes recognized as Distinguished Fellow

Patsy Fowlkes is a Distinguished Fellow for the Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Entomology and Plant Pathology. Fowlkes recently retired from The Medicines Company as an engagement partner, managing the sales of hospital-based antibiotics.

Fowlkes received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Mississippi State University and is now a resident of Chattanooga.
