* Plugged in - This orientation on Tuesday is for new and prospective members. It will be in the Chamber boardroom, beginning at 8 a.m. It will be free and features a light breakfast. For information, call 763-4366.
* North Chattanooga - The Chamber will meet on Tuesday at the Chattanooga Theatre Centre, 400 River St., with Diane Parks, Chamber director of leadership and community development, talking about "Leadership Chattanooga." The luncheon starts at 11:45 a.m. and will cost $10.
* AM Networking. This Wednesday event is being sponsored by BrightStar of Greater Chattanooga and Seniors Home Reverse Mortgage. It will be at the BlueCross BlueShield Silver Life Center, 401 M.L. King Blvd. The hours are 8 to 10 a.m.
* Downtown - Russ Blakely, president of Russ Blakely & Associates, and Beverlee Bartley, business development manager at LBMC Employment Partners, Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain LLC, will speak on "The Impact of the 2010 Health Reform Act on Small Business" when the Chamber meets at the Sheraton Read House, 827 Broad St. The breakfast meeting will start at 7:30 a.m. and the cost will be $10.
* Southside - Jay Collum, SmokeFree Chattanooga, will be the featured speaker on Thursday when the Chamber meets at the South Chattanooga Recreation Center, 1151 W. 40th St. The noon luncheon will cost $10.

* Business Advice - Free business help is available from members of Score, Counselors to America's Small Business, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Monday through Thursday at the Franklin Building, suite 515, 5726 Marlin Road, at Eastgate Town Center. For more information, call 553-1722.
* Small Business Orientation - The counselor on Thursday will discuss basic business planning, including financial projections and legal entity. Participants will receive an information packet containing phone numbers and addresses for information about business licenses and taxes and other start-up materials. It will be at the Tennessee Small Business Development Center, 100 Cherokee Blvd. The event is free and the hours will be 5:30 to 7 p.m. Call 756-8668 to register or for more information.
