Atlas SUV sales in November of 7,756 units marked the third best month for the SUV ever, according to the automaker.

Total VW sales for the month were 29,281 vehicles. For the year, VW sales are 4.2% higher at 335,445, the company reported.

Sales of the Chattanooga-made Passat were only 228 in November as the auto company changes over to a newly designed model.
