2. Amazon - internet services and retailing based in Seattle

3. Berkshire Hathaway - Insurance and other holdings, including Shaw Industries in Dalton, based in Omaha

4. Walt Disney - entertainment based in Burbank, Calif.

5. Starbucks - coffee and food services based in Seattle

6. Microsoft - computer software based in Redmond, Calif.

7. Alphabet - internet services and retailing based in Mountain View, Calif.

8. Netflix - entertainment based in Los Gatos, Calif.

9. JPMorgan Chase - banking based in New York city

10. FedEx - delivery service based in Memphis
