Eight of the 10 CEOs of Chattanooga's publicly traded companies and other major local employers got raises last year, according to company compensation reports.

1. Rick McKenney, CEO of Unum, $9.9 million, or 2.2% more than the previous year

2. Bill Johnson, CEO of the Tennessee Valley Authority, $8.1 million, up 21.9% from the previous year

3. Jeff Lorberbaum, CEO of Mohawk Industries, $4.6 million, down 7.7% from the previous year

4. JD Hickey, CEO of BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, $3.7 million, up 34% from the previous year

5. Stephen Lebovitz, CEO of CBL Properties, $3.5 million, up 34.4% from the previous year

6. Eric Fuller, CEO of U.S. Xpress, $2.9 million, up 25.5% from the previous year

7. David Parker, CEO of Covenant Transport, $2 million, up 78% from the previous year

8. Dan Frierson, CEO of Dixie Group, $1.1 million, up 59.1% from the previous year

9. Ben Brock, CEO of Astec Industries, $861,957, down 41.5% from the previous year

10. Jeff Badgley,* CEO of Miller Industries, $638,020, up 8.5% from the previous year
