Home2 Suites opened at Hamilton Place over the weekend, marking the hotel brand's first location in Chattanooga, according to Vision Hospitality Group and Hilton Chattanooga/Hamilton Place.

The new hotel is located off Interstate 75 in the Hamilton Place shopping district at 2330 Center Street. Vision Hospitality Group owns Home2 Suites and several other hotel brands both inside and outside of the Chattanooga area.

The new hotel offers all-suite accommodations with fully-accessorized kitchens and modular furniture, trademark Home2 Suites amenities such as Spin2 Cycle, a combined laundry and fitness area, Home2 market for grab-and-go items and the "Inspired Table," a complimentary daily breakfast that includes more than 400 potential combinations, said company officials in a statement.

"We are excited to introduce this all-suite hotel brand to Chattanooga and the Hamilton Place area," said Mitch Patel, Vision Hospitality Group's president and chief executive officer. "Twenty-two years ago, we opened our first hotel, Homewood Suites by Hilton Chattanooga – Hamilton Place, and we look forward to continuing our ongoing partnership with Hilton, a leading global hospitality company."

Vision Hospitality has 36 hotels nationwide with around 15 in development now and seven under construction. The company has historically operated hotels under the Marriott and Hilton franchises, but it recently announced a new division called "Humanist" that focuses on lifestyle and boutique hotels in Chattanooga; Cincinnati, Ohio; and Louisville, Kentucky.

Vision Hospitality's new division includes the launch of the hotel group's own national brand "Kinley," company officials said. The new brand and division puts an emphasis on the community surrounding the hotel instead of the amenities inside of it.

Vision Hospitality also recently opened the Edwin Hotel off the Walnut Street Bridge in Chattanooga, which is a Marriott hotel still included in the Humanist portfolio.
