WanderLinger Brewing Co. looking to expand offerings, production

Thanks to a successful crowdfunding campaign, WanderLinger Brewing Co. plans to develop a new canning line, increase production capabilities and make patio improvements.

Located in a renovated 110-year-old building off of King Street near the Chattanooga Choo Choo and Warehouse Row, the business surpassed $10,000 in crowdfunding investment from its supporters through Mainvest, a revenue sharing platform that allows patrons to invest in small businesses in exchange for future repayment.

"We were previously running at 90% utilization of our tanks," said Mike Dial, co-founder of the brewery with his brother Chris. "Everything is still done completely on-site, so this expansion will allow us to steadily increase production and keep our customers happy."

The brothers share backgrounds in both business and art, and the business has become known for featuring a small art gallery and live music, as well as serving craft beers served in a distinctive atmosphere.

"This growth comes a pivotal time for us as a family-owned business," said Dial. "With COVID-19 restrictions easing, we're now able to reopen our taproom. It's been great to get our employees back to work and resume operations with our local distributors.

Dial said he the expansion and new investment "will help us in our mission to bring our community together and be a place where people want to linger."
