Business Digest: Crye-Leike names Erik Palmer as sales manager

Erik Palmer has been named the sales manager of Crye-Leike's Chattanooga – East Brainerd branch office. Palmer will help lead the recruitment, training and management of the office's sales associates.

Palmer moved to the Northwest Georgia Region in 2002 and has been affiliated with Crye-Leike for the past three years. He previously was a retail training store manger for T-Mobile in Fort Oglethorpe.

Palmer has earned the Master Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI) designation and received his broker's license in Tennessee. Palmer is also an instructor for the Tennessee Real Estate Education Foundation (TREEF) and served on the 2018 and 2020 Professional Development Committee for the Greater Chattanooga Association of Realtors.

During this next year, Palmer hopes to earn his associate broker license in Georgia and become an instructor for the Georgia Partners in Education.

Art Stavrum wins award from Presidents Club

Art Stavrum has been named a Presidents Club Award winner for his sales achievements with the Air Solutions division of Ingersoll Rand. The Presidents Club represents the top 10 sales professionals nationally in each division. This is the 11th time since the program was initiated in 1989 that Stavrum has made the club.

Stavrum represents the Ingersoll Rand air compressor group in Chattanooga and North Georgia. Stavrum has been selling air compressors for the firm in Chattanooga for 37 years.

Bradleigh Dunn named stadium food, beverage manager

Bradleigh Dunn has been hired as the food and beverage manager for the CHI Memorial Stadium. In her new role, Dunn will oversee all of the logistical procedures for either food or beverages at the new stadium being built in East Ridge.

For the past five years, Dunn worked at the Bitter Alibi, eventually becoming its general manager.

"Since I accepted this incredible job opportunity, in the short time I have been here I can already see similarities in the dedication, loyalty, and passion that The Bitter Alibi has," she said.

Located at the intersection of Interstate-75 and Interstate-24, the 5,500-seat soccer stadium is slated to be ready for play this upcoming season for the Chattanooga Red Wolves, the club's second season in USL League One.

Vascular Institute adds Monica Chamberlain

Vascular Institute of Chattanooga (VIC) has added nurse practitioner Monica Chamberlain, DNP, to its medical staff, briging to bring eight the number of nurse practitioners on the company's staff.

Chamberlain joins Drs. Chris LeSar, Joe Coatti and Dan Krcelic, and the VIC team in the delivery of medical services at the outpatient vascular clinic, located on Lifestyle Way. Two additional VIC clinical locations are in Cleveland, Tenn., and Fort Oglethorpe, Ga.

Chamberlain will primarily handle hospital patient-related responsibilities, in addition to seeing patients in clinic. She has a doctor of nursing degree, two master's degrees, bachelor and associates degree from Southern Adventist University. Chamberlain was recognized as a "Top Nurse Practitioner" in the Chattanooga area by "Today's Nurse". She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing and the Oncology Nurses Society, and is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

AGC of East Tennessee awards construction honors

The Associated General Contractors (AGC) of East Tennessee honored four award recipients for outstanding contributions to the construction industry at its recent annual meeting. Award recipients included:

* Adman Electric for Excellence in Innovation in offering new client efficiencies through pre-fabrication processes;

* Wright Brothers Construction for Excellence in Education and Workforce Development in supporting and investing in career awareness and training;

* T.U. Parks Construction for Excellence in Safety Leadership for creating a culture that protects and ensures the welfare of employees; and

* Jim Bivens with Stowers Rents as Ambassador of the Year for outstanding industry engagement, professional representation, and volunteer contributions.

AGC of East Tennessee also welcomed four new members to its board of directors: The new AGC directors are James Tyson, president of Tyson & Associates Construction Company, Inc.; Robert Parks, project manager and director of safety with T.U. Parks Construction Co.; Andrew Faw, president of Fulmer Concrete Construction; and Richard Rose, an attorney with Miller & Martin.

Cody Sims relocates Ameriprise office

Cody Sims, a financial advisor and franchise owner for Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. , recently moved his offices to the Brabson Place at 412 Georgia Avenue in downtown Chattanooga.

Sims is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC), Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS), and Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA). He has been with Ameriprise for more than 25 years.
