Parkridge Health System has named Dr. Timothy M. Grant as chief executive officer of Parkridge North, Parkridge West, and Parkridge Valley Child and Adolescent campuses.

Grant will continue in his role as market chief medical officer for Parkridge Health and assumes additional CEO responsibilities that reflect the growth of medical service lines at Parkridge West and Parkridge North campuses, both of which also house behavioral health facilities

"Dr. Grant has played a key role in enhancing the patient experience and optimizing the provision of our medical services since joining the Parkridge family in 2018," said Tom Ozburn, president and CEO of Parkridge Health. "He brings key medical insight to campuses that have experienced rapid growth during the past year, particularly with our new full-service Emergency Department at Parkridge North and emergency, imaging, and laboratory services at Parkridge West. We are fortunate to have someone with his expertise at the helm as we continue to expand our services across Parkridge Health."

Grant's appointment as head of the three HCA hospitals follows the naming of Will Windham as CEO of Parkridge East hospital.

Grant earned a bachelor's degree from Clemson University and a medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency in anesthesiology at Duke University Medical Center and served a fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

In addition to his medical training, Grant earned a master of business administration from the University of Massachusetts. He holds a Lean Greenbelt for Healthcare Certification from the Institute of Industrial Engineers and is a certified physician executive.
