Frank Zahrobsky

BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee has chosen Frank Zahrobsky as director of provider programs and services for network strategy implementation.

Zahrobsky joined BlueCross in 2008 and has served in several divisions of the company. In his new role, he will lead a group responsible for managing strategic provider network initiatives and ensuring their alignment with the company's operational and administrative projects.

"Over the past five years, Frank has effectively handled a variety of challenging assignments and demonstrated success in working with our provider partners as well as teams across our organization," said Stacy Eiselstein, vice president of provider network operations for BlueCross. "His ability to build relationships and establish trust will enable him to effectively support a network strategy that best serves our members, providers, and group customers."

Before joining BlueCross, Zahrobsky worked for a multinational health care advisory services practice, where he was responsible for provider network contracting engagements in several regions including Chicago and Atlanta.

Zahrobsky earned a bachelor's degree in health services administration from Ohio University and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Illinois. During his time with BlueCross, he has participated in the Corporate Mentoring Program and is a current member of the company's Emerging Leaders program. He also completed the Executive Education Leadership Program at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

 

Vision Hospitality earns Marriott award

Vision Hospitality recently accepted the Development Partner of the Year award at the Marriott MINA & Full Service Owners Conference.

The Chattanooga-based hotel development firm was one of two recipients selected in the United States by Marriott's development full service franchising teams.

"In 2015, Vision was named U.S. Developer of the Year by Marriott for select-service brands, and it gives us great honor to now receive Development Partner of the Year for Marriott's full-service collection," Vision Hospitality CEO Mitch Patel said. "We deeply value our ongoing partnership with Marriott."

Travel agent Deborah Cross receives River Cruise Award

Deborah Cross, the franchise owner for Local Cruise Planners — American Express Travel, was recently recognized as a Master River Cruise Expert. As a Cruise Planners travel agent, Cross operates a full-service land and cruise travel agency in Chattanooga and specializes in ocean cruises, river cruises, resorts, and European travel.

"As a travel professional, I am also a small business owner and entrepreneur dedicated to ensuring every customer has a personalized and memorable travel experience," said Cross. "Being recognized for my hard work and achievements pushes me to keep growing my business and climb higher."

 

BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee names Rebecca Williams to head Medicare Advantage

BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee has chosen Rebecca Williams, RN, BSN, as health services director for its Medicare Advantage program.

In her new role, Williams will oversee the unit's care management and population health teams. Her efforts will focus on coordinating and implementing strategies and programs to provide members with effective, high-quality products and services.

Williams has nearly 30 years of experience in the health care industry and joined BlueCross in 2011. She most recently served as manager of coverage review operations in the company's pharmacy management area.

"Becky began her BlueCross management career in our division, and we are excited to welcome her back as part of our senior leadership team," said J.B. Sobel, M.D., vice president and chief medical officer for senior products at BlueCross. "Her extensive experience and dedication to high-quality health services programs for our members makes her an ideal fit for this position, and we are pleased to have her in this important role."

Williams earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and an associate's degree in nursing from Chattanooga State Technical Community College.
