A Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport Authority meeting on Zoom was hacked on Monday with the perpetrators spouting expletives and putting up a pornographic video clip.

Airport officials immediately cut short the meeting and reconvened on a conference call about a half-hour later.

Authority Chairman Dan Jacobson later told board members that he wasn't sure what the next step is in an investigation to find the offenders.

"I, for one, would like to give it more than a cursory effort," he said.

In the Chattanooga City Council's first virtual meeting in March, some online attendees used racist hate speech in the chat.

The FBI's Boston office reported in April that so-called "Zoom bombing" incidents are occurring on the teleconferencing app.
