Closed Door Entertainment's recent production of "Titanic the Musical."Citing a reputation of "grandiosity beyond compare," officials with Closed Door Entertainment are planning a fundraising dinner show to continue the troupe's mission of bringing quality theater by local artists to hometown venues.
"CDE's Latest Hits & More" will be presented Saturday night, June 21, at Abba's House in Hixson. Dinner will precede the show.

"If you've been a member of a CDE show or a patron at one of our performances, you can see that we do nothing on a small scale," says a news release. "Our sets and (back)drops are jaw-dropping, our costumes are mesmerizing and our music is breathtaking. We are proud of the quality we bring but are ever aware of the price that comes with it."
The dinner show will feature performances by Jay Craig, Bo Callaway, JC Smith, Daniel Moore, Jake Wallin, Johnny Krause, Mary Beth Torgerson, Ashley Larsen, Anna Marie Brendel, Maddie Brashier and Grace Kling. Terry Sanford will accompany on keys.
They'll reprise selections from the company's recent productions, including "Titanic the Musical," "Les Miserables" and "Into the Woods," as well as sing some personal favorites.
The dinner menu will feature orzo Mediterraneo, Italian meatballs, roasted asparagus, Caesar salad, garlic rolls and dessert.
