Glass Class is next for Houston Museum's History Hunters

Previous History Hunters programs at the Houston Museum of Decorative Arts have enlightened children about topics ranging from miniatures and quilts to Easter bonnets and Victorian Christmases.

The next will spotlight founder Anna Safley Houston's biggest passion: glass. At The Glass Class, visitors can tour the museum's exhibits of decorative glass, learn how simple elements are used to make glass, try making glass using the same process and create a decorative glass trinket to take home.

Programs begin at 1 and 2 p.m. Saturday, June 4.

Admission to the museum, 201 High St., is $3 for children, $9 for adults.
