Center for Creative Arts students present 'Steel Magnolias'

Students at Center for Creative Arts, Chattanooga's performing arts magnet school, will present the classic Southern story "Steel Magnolias" by Robert Harling at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 11-12, in the school's Sandra Black Theater, 1301 Dallas Road.

Directed by Magge Hudgins, the comedy/drama centers on the bond among a group of female characters who are as delicate as magnolias but as tough as steel.

Featured in the cast are, from left, Taryn Bracher, Zoe Pettaway, Maggie Hall (seated), Gaby Kilgore, Hannah McLaren (kneeling) and Crescent Hurley.

Tickets are $5. Seating is limited.
